Another use for the self-amplified QS6112. This stable is of course one of the simplest nice randomizing soundscapes you can ask for. One speaker near the rear of the stable creates an atmosphere of a barnyard. From horses in the yard to chickens, puppies and cats, a realistic background is created. The front speaker, hidden near the horse’s head produces sounds of the horse occasionally eating or drinking, and snorting with some minor other sounds as it waits in the stable.
When the overhead motion detector is triggered by a visitor, they are greeted with a loud snort, whinny or excited stamping of feet, all randomized as part of the overall mix of sounds already playing in the space. Kids love it!
Updates or changes to the soundscapes are easy to accomplish using the wireless connection to the main media drive, which has a separate folder for this exhibit.
